VIVID
(yellow kills blue, cyan kills red, magenta kills green)
STORY:
The world has been struck by a curse,
a big chunk seems to have lost its colour.
This little painter doesn't seem too happy about that, but they'll have to face an onslaught of possessed paint creatures if they want to save the world from complete decolouration!
There is however hope, for deep within the caves awaits the crystal of light, it holds the power to revitalise the world with vivid colours.

CONTROLS:
Use wasd, zqsd or arrow keys to move.
Hold the mouse down to select a colour, release the mouse button to hurl a blob of paint.
Hold down arrow or S to use your palette as a shield.
Use T, click the tool icon or use scroll wheel to toggle tools.
To kill enemies, use contrasting colours!
It is possible to get stuck, but this can be avoided by the player, and it can be undone by clicking the green flag and starting a new game. It's also quite rare, yet a logical byproduct of a randomly generated world where you can't break all blocks.

Update: 11/6/22 made paint splashes create a more pronounced gradient from colourful to colourless, this should hopefully make it easier to see where the terrain really stops in dark areas.
24/6/22 made music of different locations fade over into one another
29/7/24 added fall damage, added sound to paint particles hitting floor, added end tune.
30/11/25 added moody music to dark caves, made winged enemies lose their wings upon taking damage
